PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The communication of personal data to REALFIO through this website does not constitute a legal or contractual obligation, except where strictly necessary to process a request submitted by the data subject. The personal data collected through the various forms available on this website are processed for the following purposes:

• Job applications (spontaneous or for specific opportunities) and internships: full name, email, telephone/mobile phone, area of interest, educational institution, answers to motivational questions, as well as any other data voluntarily provided by the applicant, are processed for recruitment and selection purposes, and may be stored for future opportunities with the applicant’s consent.
• Quotation requests: name, email, telephone/mobile phone, tax ID/VAT number, location, product type, quantity, colour and message are processed to analyse and respond to the commercial request.
• Requests for catalogues and colour charts: name, email, company, product preferences and message are processed in order to provide the requested materials.
• Meeting requests: name, professional email, telephone/mobile phone, company, role, meeting location and message with purpose and preferred dates are processed for scheduling management.
• Newsletter (under development): personal data provided for newsletter subscription will be used for sending informational and promotional communications, subject to the explicit consent of the subscriber.
• Business clients: data provided by clients in the context of business relations, including signed consent, are processed for contract management and related commercial communications.

REALFIO does not share personal data with third parties, except where required by law or with the consent of the data subject.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

The data collected is used for legitimate and specific purposes, namely:

• Recruitment and selection of candidates;
• Providing information on products and services;
• Preparation of commercial quotations;
• Sending catalogues, trends, and promotional materials;
• Scheduling and management of meetings;
• Sending newsletters, when applicable;
• Fulfilling contractual obligations with business clients.

Data will be retained only for the period necessary for the purposes stated above, or as required by law. For example, application data may be stored for up to 1 year, while tax and commercial data may be kept for up to 5 years.

DATA CONTROLLER AND SUBCONTRACTORS

REALFIO is the entity responsible for processing personal data. In certain cases, subcontractors may be engaged (e.g.: web hosting services, statistical navigation analysis platforms), who are also legally bound to comply with data protection obligations under a signed agreement.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

The data subject may, at any time, exercise their rights under the GDPR, including:

• Right of access to data;
• Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Objection to processing, where applicable;
• Data portability;
• Restriction or erasure of data;
• Withdrawal of consent, when this is the legal basis for processing.

Requests must be made in writing to REALFIO. The data subject may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).

COOKIES
