RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
The Research & Development area is based on a close partnership with the client, with the goal of creating innovative products. An example of this is the Ecocel® reference, developed with cellulosic fibres sourced from wood, designed to meet the needs of the footwear sector.
COLOUR LABORATORY
Realfio is at the forefront of developing and reproducing colours that bring any type of fibre to life. The colour laboratory is supported by a dynamic team, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, capable of achieving the highest levels of quality demanded by clients.
DYEING
Realfio has its own dyeing facilities, optimising processes, strengthening internal control, and an ensuring excellence. Specialised in the dyeing of yarns and textile ribbons, the technical team has decades of industry experience, ensuring precision and quality in every detail of the process.
WINDING
Yarn bobbins are transformed into thread cones, ready to be used in the most demanding industrial applications. The professionalism of the team, together with the rigour with which Realfio operates at every stage, ensures the identification and correction of potential defects. In the final stage, packaging guarantees that the product is delivered to the client meeting all superior quality requirements. This process is continuously monitored to ensure consistency and excellence in every batch produced.
QUALITY
Realfio is fully committed to delivering excellent product quality and ensuring customer satisfaction. It has held an ISO 9001 – certified quality management system since 2002, being one of the first companies in Portugal to obtain certification for the production of sewing threads. To ensure safety, high performance and efficiency throughout the entire production cycle, Realfio’s sewing threads undergo inspection, control and, when necessary, correction processes.
LOGISTICS
Realfio ensures the reception of all resources required for production, the shipment of finished products, and the supply of stores. Supported by vertically integrated production and advanced management systems, Realfio is able to obtain real-time information, allowing it to control flow, optimise operations and transportation. It guarantees both quality and agility in the delivery of products across the country, as well as to international markets.
